ALS Group is proud to be a long-term supporter of Variety – The Children’s Charity, an organisation committed to empowering Australian children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs to live, laugh and learn.
By giving practical equipment, programs and experiences. Variety helps children in need to overcome whatever obstacles they face and live life to the fullest.
We support Variety in two main ways:
- Installation of the Liberty Swing – a revolutionary design in play equipment for people with disabilities. Allowing children in wheelchairs the opportunity to enjoy the fun and recreation of swinging.
- Participation in the The Variety Bash each year – originated by businessman, explorer and philanthropist Dick Smith, when he wanted to take a few mates for a drive in the Outback in old cars and at the same time raise money for charity, the annual Variety Bash is Australia’s most successful charity motoring event.
Buttenshaw Park, Springwood - Carousel
ALS Group had the pleasure of working with Rotary and Variety NSW to provide and install a new accessible carousel for wheel chair and disabled children to play within the park. Designing and landscaping a safe and enjoyable play area.
